Thomas Peplow
Tom Peplow is a principal at Milliman and leads the product group of the Life Technology Solutions (LTS) Practice.
He oversees a team of product development professionals including product management, user experience, and software engineers in Southampton, UK and Seattle, US.
Tom’s focus now is re-imagining MG-ALFA, delivering the Integrate Ecosystem, and unifying all product features under a single development and production execution environment. He continues to bring innovation to actuarial software through a strong partnership with Microsoft Azure and is revolutionising hyperscale computation and cloud native big data platforms.
Experience
Tom has worked in financial services as a software engineer and consultant for over 20 years. He began his career as an apprentice for a dot-com startup building ecommerce solutions at 16 years of age, and he studied part time to achieve a Masters degree aged 23. He operated as an independent consultant where he joined Milliman to help build the Integrate distributed computing platform before joining full time to set-up the UK team and later transferring to Seattle.
